Stops Along the Canal
We will visit vestiges of the old Erie Canal west of Syracuse including Simms Store, a sluiceway, a canal tener’s booth, Richmond Aqueduct, and the newly refurbished lock at the Canal Heritage Park in Port Byron. Dick Lightcap 315-729-9385
Paddle Raquette Lake Inlets
We will paddle and investigate several Raquette Lake inlet streams: possibly Brown Tract Pond Inlet and/or South Inlet. Both are scenic, meandering streams with interesting bog plants along the shorelines Wear PFD and bring your own canoe/kayak. Mary Coffin 315-687-3589

Pillsbury Mountain Fire Tower
